Roses cover her face as their sweet essence she tastes
Blinded by their beauty and petals filled with grace
They are her mask to shield her from past
Past darkness and hurt that would shatter her like glass
She blows out the sweet perfumes of the essence she's consumed
But as she blows it out ice crystals appear creating as cascading monsoon
A monsoon of frozen beauty that comes from the delicate mask she wears
But the path she's walking if she could see would surely scare
It becomes freezing as now it's frozen rose petals she's breathing
As the the petals become cold and frozen one by one they start leaving
Cracking and crumbling due to the cold she's entered
The roses can't survive in this sorrowful winter
As they fall from her eyes the tears begin to roll
Rolling down her face as she loses control
For she now can see all her fears and and pain
As her tears turn colors leaving different rose stains
She braves the walk down this wintery road
Collecting her rose petals of frozen sorrow
Making it out the petals start to revive
Instead of a mask they create a crown of roses that thrive
