Sinking Ship

When I want to pen down my feelings,
I go totally blank
Waking up not having you by my side in the morning
makes me noticeably crank
The reason for wanting everyday meeting
was for you to be frank
With a lot of seeding and sapling
day by day it grew to be a thick tank
When things were going well, with longing ‘n craving
my heart sank
But little did I know that it was an ending
and the entire episode was just a prank
As usual my darling, you left me grieving
with only a lot of memories to look back
