Poem #4 mind vs inner self

MIND VS INNERSELF

My mind say's go this way
My gut say's go that way

It's not always a constant battle
But when they collide i tend become overwhelmed

When i listen to my heart i hardly ever go wrong
But it's not always logical or methodical

They never taught me to listen to my inner self
We all have that voice in our head do you?

That voice we know we should listen to
What is that voice? Why do we all have it? Do you?

The leader's of the world and government's surely know
I definitely think so
but why tell the masses
they dont want us to grow

This voice is becoming a guide
It's hear to protect me
Never to stress
To bless me
To impress me

Call it what you want your soul, intuition,gut,innerself higher self, spirit, GOD.

Whatever it is I'm on a mission to become close and intune with it.

One thing i do know is it comes from within and it always gives me advice in time of need

The hard thing about it is it will tell to do something that my mind dont get, it's like they are at war
