Everyone For Himself, But Who Is For Us All?

So we were told #steemit was a community
A place to create an opportunity
Others keep climbing
Some of us keep stumbling
So am here thinking
Everyone for himself, but who is for us all?

We are setting the pace
In our own way we are trying
But people keep falling behind in the race
So am here miming
Everyone for himself, but who is for us all?

People are fretting
For time is passing
Day in day out, they are checking
Posts that are trending
And they are wondering
Everyone for himself, but who is for us all?

But am seated
With my leg crossed
And not bothered
For in #unity I am engrossed
Because I know we will make it
Here on #steemit
We will take it
Every single opportunity
And now I know
Evereyone for himself, we are for us all
