What I Wish He Knew
What I Wish He Knew
I wish he knew how taxing it is,
The weight of days that never cease.
How unseen I feel in the shadows,
While striving to find a sense of peace.
I wish he saw the effort spent,
My silence as a whispered cry for help
Help for me from me.
Wishing he'd step in willingly,
To do as he sees done,
Not waiting for a call to action,
But joining in the silent run.
He does so much, this I know,
In the ever-growing need,
Yet the burden feels so heavy,
And the moments seem to flea.
Oh, the mess of this shared life,
Is a beautiful, chaotic task.
For in this tangled, shared existence,
With all its trials and strife,
The mess of this life is worth it,
For the love that shapes our life.
