THE CAGED TREE

This poem is basically about how we are turning our children into an immobile tree from an independent birds.

A tree was sown at a tiny age and was thrown in the life's race ,
A life race in which all are stuck,
but no one cared of it .

Then he started watering and nourishing it ,
She knew what it want as it want to grow and fly,
But she was week and voice less,
He was strong so suppressed her voice.

Soon the tree grew up tall and green,
But there still to bear the fruits,
He wants it to fruit faster,
But it was never meant to be .

What !! a fate it has got oh!! Lord,
It wanted to fly but stuck in the roots,
Numerous roots which never let it fly,
But then a day came , it started decaying .

Now he realizes that he forget to differentiate between a bird and tree ,
But now its too late ,
Though its looks tall and green but in side infected with diseases.

A tree that is immobile though it has got leaves of knowledge but faded one ,
But has got the capacity to bear the fruits.

Oh!! what a fate you have , you looks so green and tall ,
But infected by bugs and insects ,
A tree which was not tree at all but a bird ,
Its feather cut and buried and tree to grow.

The tree's feather which can not fly now ,
It can only nods its leaves saying "i am stuck , i can't fly".

He puts all his effort to make it of fruitful tree,
But it was never meant to be,
How can a bird so independent be a tree ,
So dump and immobile tree.

And that's how the magic is done,
A bird turned into a tree,
Though now it bears the fruits but not the taste....
