Because You Gave

Because you gave,
I now do live.
In the greatest land,
That God can give.

America you are,
A country that’s free.
Because we believe,
In freedom and liberty.

Built on God,
Foundations so strong.
A land where people,
Now do belong.

But freedom is,
Paid with a price.
Bought with blood,
In wars, not so nice.

But to be free,
We have to serve.
Standing for righteousness,
In a country we deserve.
