SPELLBOUND
I wish my truth can set you free
I wish my lies will keep you here
Darling, these are dark, dark times
Sometimes, my lines don’t even rhyme

Yea, I wish I could breathe without you
Defy the cold and sleep on the moon
Darling, my knees still feel so so weak
Sometimes, I’m not the hero in my own dreams

I know your heart like mine is cursed
Beating furiously like an Ashanti drum
Darling, I wish we’d met in another life
Sometimes, I can’t even spell my name right

I know you hate this feeling much as I do
A war you never wanted; a war you can’t lose
Darling, my best words don’t always make sense
Sometimes, I can’t even tie the loose ends

We’re stuck in a cold, frigid universe
We’re in love, we’re alone, we’re the only ones left
