Space and planets
One of my son's favorite subjects is space and planets. Every day over and over again, we read the books that tell us that the Moon is the Earth's satellite, the Earth revolves around the Sun, and we draw our galaxy, the planets.
Each time we talk about circles and turns, we explain how everything is in circulation.
This is exactly what I'm thinking of looking at the mountains that are visible through the mists in a retreat center in a village on the outskirts of the Alpine Mountains in Italy.
We're in the loop, we're turning, we're moving. I'm looking at the mountains, trying to feel the loop by pressing my feet firmly to the ground, but my head is just against the glory of nature.
When the bell sounds ring, I realize the time, I remember the lesson will start and I'm going in. I was so timeless.
