Welcome Our Chief Marketing Officer, Yves Van den Meerssche

Today, we are proud to announce Planchain’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Yves Van den Meerssche. He will be joining Planchain’s senior-leadership team. He will lead product marketing programs as Plainchain develops a next generation Intellectual Property Asset Management Platform that is powered by the VechainThor Blockchain.
Yves started his career at Quiksilver and O’Neil and was a member of the Image Control team. His input resulted in new flagship stores, events, and a cutting-edge marketing and public relations strategy. He later provided innovative WebTV technology, years before YouTube. He was featured on Apple.com for his accolades as a video-streaming pioneer in partnership with Akamai. As a freelance journalist, he interviewed icons from the surfing industry, photographers, and wrote for international surf publications. As a passionate photographer, he has been travelling the world chasing places to “Live The Good Life” and founded the LTL Surf Travel Guide.
Yves shares how he feels about his new role: “Planchain’s vision is inspiring. We share a common desire to develop innovative services and products that will empower the creative world. I look forward to working with this team for artists and creators, as we define the future of block-chain powered IP asset management solutions in the areas of copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets.”

Yves brings a strategic-partnership with LiveTheLife

Yves commitment to Planchain results in an inherited strategic partnership with LiveTheLife (LTL). LTL has teamed with PlanChain to support coders, designers, writers, photographers, filmmakers, and other creators with Intellectual Property (IP) and Copyright Management. The IP rights of digital content creators are difficult to protect. PlanChain will offer blockchain-powered solutions backed by experienced IP attorneys.
