How to mine a POS Cryptocurrency such as PIVX using a multipool

Hello everyone, This is my first blog on steemit.

As most of you may know PIVX is a POS (Proof Of Stake) Coin what that means is that it cannot be mined directly however through a multipool such as http://pivx.cryptopool.io you can mine using 3 various algorithms, You will automatically mine the most profitable coin and it will automatically be converted into PIVX and sent to your PIVX wallet address :)

So here is my tutorial:

Firstly these are the things you will need:

1.) Mining software such as CGminer and the required hardware such as a GPU or Antminer Or alternatively rented hash from companies such as nicehash.com

2.) A PIVX wallet such as PIVX-Qt which you can get from https://pivx.org/wallet/

3.) A PIVX address which you will use as the user in the mining configuration

Once you have all of that make your way to http://pivx.cryptopool.io which is the official link to our PIVX mining pool, In the page you should see all our various mining method configurations.

So copy and all the pool information into your rented mining website or if you are using CGminer like myself you will need to do the following procedure:
1.) Assuming you are on Windows Open up CMD . Enter the command CD and paste the directory of where your miner is, for example "CD C:\Users\jeffrey\Desktop\miner" and press enter

2.) cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://url -u workername -p password is the command you should use , you must amend it with the algorithm that you prefer such as my command here: " cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://pivx.cryptopool.io:4445 -u DNvVYrivLgxFJ7rWk8Lk9f7VYfoZYn1xYr -p x "

3.)Press enter and the mining should begin and should look something like this:

You should be successfully mining right now, you can track your payouts on http://pivx.cryptopool.io/miner/YOURPIVXADDRESS

NOTES:
Your username will be your PIVX address
Password can just be set as X
The pool will update and show mining updates every 10 seconds
