Discovery of Gravitational Waves Fetched Physics Noble Prize for 2017

Physics is my favorite subject. And I try to follow key developments in this field. This year discovery of gravitational waves too is very exciting.

This year’s prize goes to Rainer Weiss, Barry Barish and Kip Thorne, “for decisive contributions to the LIGO detector and the observation of gravitational waves”, in which Einstein’s general relativity plays a major role.
