There is nothing like a wake-up call, is there? I have no idea what kind of shape you are in but I can say that exercise to help little by little as always a help when something unexpected like this comes up. But you already knew that I could tell. Sorry this had to happen to you but oh, I think it's a cheap reminder of how you need to get in better shape for yourself.

And gosh, I said that all without knowing you. But of course no ill intent was meant.

You are right. I am not that bad though and just haven't made time for looking after myself lately. It wont take me long to get everything back to normal as I am very sporty and enjoy doing this type of thing. I have given myself 6 weeks to get back in shape again and shed some excess weight.
We all need a wake up call and should just do it. No ill intent taken and look after yourself and thank you for commenting and the tipu.

I knew. I figured that you were not that bad but it's always good to get a little bit of a wake-up call to make sure that you stay in shape. I'm a regular Runner or sometimes I walk, but normally I do it every single day, with occasionally taking a day off. I can really tell the difference when I stop doing it for a month or so, as I did when I went to take care of my mom. I couldn't leave her alone so I didn't go out but oh, I will tell you that it killed me when I get home and it's like starting all over again. But our bodies pretty quick to respond, especially if it has been worked before. So good luck and I'll see you on the trail!
