Shell Beach
Shark Bay located in Western Australia, 45 kilometres south-east of Denham, has a rare phenomena!
Shells everywhere
110 km long of coast of the l'Haridon Bight...
There is two beaches in the world only made of shells!!!
Due to the high salinity and the absence of predators in the area that has allowed the cockle to proliferate.
Mainly cockle of the species Fragum erratum, and shells are the reason for the name .
The shells have formed a limestone that is named Coquina.
Number of buildings in Denhamnn in the peninsula are made of limestone.
You should visit ;)
I was there in April. It's a spectacular sight.
