Medina en Túnez!!

When I see this photo the intense smells, colors, noise and chaos that I felt and experienced when I entered the Medina of Tunis comes to my mind.

The Medina is a local market or bazaar where you can find many products such as crafts, leather goods, pottery, ceramics, clothing and all kinds of souvenirs for tourists. The interesting thing about this place is its architecture and the way it is organized. When you enter the Medina it is as if you have entered a labyrinth where you find tiny and narrow streets and passages that surround you.

The whole place is covered with shops, one after another, which is why you can easily choose between the color and the variety of products that hang and stand out when you walk.

The Medina is the space for traditional restaurants, all kinds of sweets, monuments, mosques, palaces and workshops where you can see the Tunisians doing the chiseling of copper.

This place for me is magic and totally different to any market I've seen before.

Al ver esta foto vienen a mi mente los intensos olores, colores, el ruido y el caos que sentí y viví cuando ingrese en la Medina de la ciudad de Túnez.

La Medina es un mercado local o bazar en el que se pueden encontrar un sinnúmero de productos, artesanías, marroquinería, alfarería, cerámica, ropa y toda clase de souvenirs para turistas. Lo interesante de este lugar es su arquitectura y la forma como está organizado. Cuando entras en la Medina es como si ingresaras en un laberinto, te encuentras con diminutas y estrechas calles y pasadizos que te envuelven.

Todo el lugar esta cubierto de tiendas, una tras otra, es por ello que fácilmente te puedes perder entre el color y la variedad de productos que cuelgan y sobresalen al caminar.

La Medina además es el espacio en el que se encuentran restaurantes tradicionales, todo tipo de dulces, monumentos, mezquitas, palacios y talleres donde se pueden ver a los tunecinos haciendo el cincelado del cobre.

Este lugar para mi es mágico y totalmente diferente a cualquier mercado que haya visto antes.
