My pictures from traveling to Estes Park, Colorado
Back in March, one of my good friends had a destination wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. The location was chosen for it's beauty and very close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. Naturally, I brought along my camera to try and get some pictures of the park and it's surrounding areas. Unfortunately, a severe snow storm hit and we couldn't make it very far from Estes Park, but nonetheless the mountain landscape was gorgeous and I got as many pics as I could.
Firstly, here's the groom, you'll recognize him in a few of the pictures.
This is an area we found when we realized our vehicles didn't have the ability to get up into Rocky Mountain National Park in the snowstorm. Maybe we couldn't see the park, but we could have a snowball fight!
Once we tired of the pelting eachother with snowballs, we decided to explore some local spots as we couldn't get far in the storm.
These are from Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company, a small brewery built inside of an old gas station. They had some good beer and were incredibly friendly. They even took us back into their brewing room and showed us their process and equipment, simply because someone asked. Great guys.
We took a 'trolley' of sorts to Lyons, Co. for the actual wedding ceremony. It was fun, if at times a bit scary, flying down mountain roads in what was basically a bus.
Our last day in Co, after the ceremony when the snow had melted a bit, we found a little bit of time to finally get up a mountain and do a little sightseeing.
Thanks for looking =]
Very nice pics! Looks like ya had a blast.
Wow! Looks peaceful there, really makes me want to travel.
