In Banda Aceh, there is Rumoh Aceh Museum. Museum established by the Department of Tourism and Culture Banda Aceh was founded in 1915. Uniquely building Rumoh Aceh museum was created in the Dutch colonial year 1914 in Semarang, which then moved to Aceh and became one of the museums with a long history in the archipelago.
In Rumoh Aceh, contained many meanings of Aceh culture itself, one example is the height of the door is only about 120-150 cm, it aims to make anyone who entered should be slightly ducked, supposedly the meaning of ducking according to the old people is a Homage to the host upon entering his home, whoever he is regardless of his degree and position. The height of the house of Aceh is about 2.5-3m with the activity center on the 2nd floor. At the museum rumoh Aceh, there are 3 main parts namely, seuramoë keuë (front porch) and seuramoë teungoh (middle porch) containing musical art equipment and display- A display of heroes and seuramoë likôt (back porch) paintings containing kitchen utensils.
