Eyes of Siena

I was reviewing my photo archive trying to free some space on HD. And found these unprocessed shots captured in Siena, Tuscany (Italy). Besides, my work mate just came from Italy where he was on vacations, so I am in Italian mood tonight :)))

It was my first visit to Siena, in January, and I hope it wasn't the last, as I'd like to visit their annual Palio di Siena, a horse race that is held twice each year at central square. And while I'm dreaming, let's take a short walk.

Windows are like eyes of homes, they look through them at the world.

Its narrow streets, balconies and aches are absolutely fascinating. Isn't it?

Siena gives rise to mixed feelings. From one hand, it has medieval look with all these buildings, churches and streets, from other hand - very young because of University of Siena. Ancient streets are crowded with young people, I'd say they are a major part of citizens.
