Urban Exploration (urbex) is an adventure activity to explore places that are wasted and far from commercial. Usually this urbex or EU group observes the ruins of buildings that have been abandoned by humans. This activity has a very high risk including physical injury, threat of punishment, arrest, violation of State privacy, to death. However, that is not too important for urban explorers when they succeed in getting visual evidence worth millions of dollars.

The main targets of the explorer are wasted places, dead cities, old hospitals, stations, tunnels, mining locations scattered in various countries such as Paris, Rome, America and Japan. This activity turned out to be in demand by a number of practitioners such as photographers or cinematographers.

Some horror film workers, makers of animated games, documentary films are the ones who most often need the services of the urbex. The urbex activity has now become a television broadcast commodity such as Discovery Channel (of course yes), MTV's fear, Ghost Hunting, and some box office films like Skyfall.
