Please, Forgive the bride
with a dress as white as a snow,
it freely flows,
as she take each step down the aisle,
with joy glistening in her eyes,
seeing people's emotion through their eyes
yet you see this middle-aged, wrinkly thin-skinned woman,
at the back of the church, wiping the tears streaming on her cheeks,
At first, glanced you'd thought it was out of joy
yet, you look through her eyes -
and see the pain and sorrows,
is she perhaps the mother of the bride?
Oh! the complexity of life
honor and respect towards the parent's wish of a wonderful wedding,
not a rushed one, seeing the bride -
walked down the aisle carrying a life within her,
Please forgive the bride, who fails her mother's dream wedding,
In a rush, she committed her whole life with that man - torn
between his mother's words and his wife to be along the unborn child,
Oh! Bless her heart, that she may be happy with the path that she chose.
