Travelblog#3: Hoa Binh- Viet Nam- Where you can find who you truly are
For people who didn't know me much, Hoa Binh is my actual hometown but I work in Hanoi- capital of Vietnam. One time when I came back to my hometown for holiday, I have found a beautiful resort- Muong resort. At that time, I was so stressful because of my job, I decided to rent a room in that resort. First of all, I did not expect much, I just needed 2 days without disturbing. But at last, I was so impress about this place.
I remembered it was a summer day but rainy and really cold as well. The address was so hard to find because it's about 20-30kms far from my town. But don't worry, you'll feel worth when you find this.
I felt like I just got lost in a fairy garden. After the rain, the scene and the air like new. I no longer heard the car-horning or the noisy sound of crowd. It was just me surrounded by bird sounds, trees and flowers.
You have to pay $30 per night for no Internet, no buffet breakfast, no swimming pool haha. Then what you get? Time! Time to stay alone and think about decicions you have made in life. Time to think about your mistakes and regretness. Time to miss your family and realize how long you haven't visit home. Moreover, you'll get brave to stand straight and keep on moving on your own path. That's all Muong resort gave me.
This resort was decorated really artistry by the local people. Every corner in Muong resort has a soul. You can take picture or just stand there enjoying for hours. Some corners has it own spiritual value according to Muong people's culture. Occasionally, you will smell a warm and sacred scent of the incense in the air.
All the experiences at Muong resort are unforgettable memories for me to say. When I came back to work, there was something changed of my job. But I have found my own solutions instead of sitting and do nothing.
You know, life was never hard enough to knock you down, you just don't give yourself enough time to get used to. Turn off your phone and get lost somewhere out there. I am sure you can bring youself back faster and stronger.
