The predator in the insect group and Taxonomy

in #photography7 years ago

the existing lung found that the Hornet and other Hymenoptera insects have a body that is easily recognizable compared to other insect classes. His body is divided into 3 main parts: head, thorax, and abdomen (some other literature calls it composed of head, metasoma, and mesosoma although the same meaning). The main characteristic of Hymenoptera members including wasps is a slender-sized "waist" that connects the chest with its abdomen (except for the Tenthrenidae family saw fly) so that its body can bend easily. Several types of wasps such as the wasps of mud from the Spechidae family even have long waistlines.
In the head of a wasp there is a pair of compound eyes, the eye consisting of a collection of smaller eye lenses. In addition to a pair of compound eyes, wasps also have 3 oselus (simple eye) on the top of his head. Oselus is not used for viewing, but to detect the intensity of light around it so they can know when to start and end their activities. Wasps also have a pair of mandibles that can be used for various activities such as clamping objects, removing wood fibers, and even to kill other insects. Another part of the wasp's head is a pair of book-mounted antennas to detect chemical stimuli.
Hornet as a member of the phylum Arthropoda has no deep frame, but its body is covered by an outer shell called the exoskeleton. The color of the outer shell varies where in the wasp of the familia Vespidae, its body is strikingly yellow and black as a warning to other animals so as not to disturb it if it does not want to be stung. The body of the wasp is also barely covered with hair (the opposite of bees whose body is covered with bushy hair).
All wasps have wings (except the female wasps of the Mutillidae family) are transparent in color. These wings number 2 pairs and move in tune in which if the front wing rises, then the rear wing also moves up. Hornet is very good at flying in the air because when flying, he can perform various maneuvers like flying fast, spinning in space, and even flying backwards. Hornets generally fly by folding their legs, while some other wasps like paper wasps let their hind legs hang (unfolded) while flying.
