Fotografía del año 1995, en el pueblo de El Amparo (municipio Ricaurte, Estado Cojedes), en ella se logra observar una de las últimas casas más antiguas que se llevaron acabo en los inicios del siglo XX. Es importante resaltar que, El Amparo fue un importante puerto fluvial ubicado río Cojedes arriba (en el actual municipio Ricaurte) a unos 70 km de El Baúl, que servía de enlace entre a la zona de Portuguesa-Lara con El Baúl y San Fernando de Apure.
