This starling shows off his magnificent dark speckled coat, revealing a green and purple sheen when the light catches. What a beautiful creature he is!
Keeping us company the whole year round - and in winter particularly huge roosts are a spectacular sight. They sit in the trees or on the wires and roofs, chattering, chattering, and then suddenly - silence. Settled for the night! In summer they are often seen alone or in smaller groups, which can make photographs a little easier if you can tempt them closer with some tasty treats! The birds were eating seeds, and I was eating seeds too. A birdy picnic on a summers day... what joy, truly!!!

Without a doubt, it is a beautiful bird, with that plumage that poses in the radiant solar rays, in the trees, posts! I love the pictures in their different pranks in their freedom to be where it provokes them .. Greetings friend @woman-onthe-wing
Many thanks @andrina! I feel affinity with birds and love to think of them gliding through the air and looking down upon the land... They are all so beautiful and unique, even the 'ugly' ones with harsh calls I love!
