She was Wild at Heart

This set of self portraits was taken last spring. I am a nature lover, and I love the word WILD, it resonates with me, and brings a sense of authenticity and being true to oneself. When I look at the idea of being one with the flowers, or emerging from the flowers it gives the conceptual impression of being at home in nature and within oneself.

I took these photos at my childrens school while they played at the park. These were just there growing over the side of the fence, and like so many of my floral shoots I end up being sort of random in my locations, but as long as the end result works I am happy.
