The Wonderful World of Macro Photography
Macro photography doesn't have to be daunting, just have fun and practise, try different angles and different apertures,. You could if the subject stays still long enough take multiple images at a shallow DOF and walk the focal point from front to back, then focus stack them in Photoshop for a pin sharp image. Not that I have focus stacked these!
Have ago at macro photography yourself now that winter is coming, you wont have to go outside in the cold and you don't have to use live subjects.
Take close ups of still life objects and create something abstract, just have fun more importantly.
