Hi guys! I want to show you a small part of the park in Wroclaw. It is large, so it will be uninteresting to place everything at once.

This is a huge park, which is the most diverse park in terms of nature. About 350 species of trees grow here from Europe, Asia, America, and many species of animals live, including foxes, martens, 70 species of birds.

A separate part of the Shitnitsky Park is the Japanese Garden. It was founded with a pond and Japanese-style buildings at the beginning of the 20th century at an exhibition of garden art. Just next to the park is a huge zoo, arikanarium, hydropolis, which I also plan to visit!

The park of 16 hectares was designed in the English style. However, he was severely damaged by Napoleon’s soldiers in 1806. In 1833, recreation areas grew in this part of the city, and not only the area of

the park increased. To the south of it was created race track, which functioned here until the beginning of the 20th century.

Hala Stulecia 

The Century Hall is one of the greatest works of architecture of the 20th century, the original design of Max Berg is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Monumental Hall of the Century was opened in 1913, on the centenary anniversary of the victory of the anti-French coalition forces over Napoleon Bonaparte's army near Leipzig.

At the moment, it was not possible to visit him, as repairs are being made there!

Multifunctional space, original design, climatic and spatial arrangement are just some of its strengths. Complex Hala Stulecia today is the venue for the largest exhibitions, conferences, cultural and sports events, concerts.

Also in the summer there works a huge multimedia fountain. It is the largest in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. It covers an area of about 1 hectare, and at its bottom there are up to 800 light points, three hundred water jets and three fire nozzles. The end of the season is September 30th.

Demonstrations during the day can be observed every day, at any hour, lasting from several to several tens of minutes. Background for water choreography - classical music, hits of popular music, etc.

The Steel Spire stood in the Centennial Hall in 1948 on the occasion of the Exposition of Restored Territories.

Initially, the mirror design was installed at the top, which, illuminated by spotlights from the ground, would give additional effects. However, during the storm, before the opening of the Spire, the mirrors fell apart. Their remains were taken by two young Wroclaws, it took them more than a day to climb to the top. At that time, specialized climbing teams did not work yet.

Museum of Contemporary Art Pavilion of the Four Domes

Designed by eminent architect Hans Pelzig and built in 1912-1913 using modern reinforced concrete technology.

Initially, it served as an exposition - in 1913 a historical exhibition was opened here, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the victory at Napoleon. In 2006, as one of the elements of the exhibition complex in the Hall of the Century, it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. After 1945, he served, among other things, for the magazine Wytwórnia Filmów Fabularnych. Unconditionally, it collapsed.

The new exhibition space will also be used for temporary presentations.
