Puffco Pro 2 Vape Pen Vaporizer Kit 4.75" with removable splash guard Review!
Puffco Pro 2 Vape Pen Vaporizer Kit 4.75" is the second edition of Puffco Pro which wasa very popular vape pen. Puffco Pro 2 has stainless steel finish as you can see from the picture and I find this finish is very cool. When you open this vape pen, it has a single coil ceramic chamber. It doesn’t sound like much when you hear like a double coil or triple coil, but it performs really well. So I don’t care how many coils it has as long as it does the job well. The size of the Pro 2 is 30% smaller than the size of the PuffcoPro plus. The new version is a lot more pocketable ,it’s a lot more discreet, easier to sneak into places and easier to sneak a hit when you are out. Puffco Pro plus doesn’t have long battery life and for Pro plus it takes little bit longer to heat up and you are not getting as big of a hits with Pro Plus model.
The Puffco Pro 2 Vape pen comes in the little box with the nice diagram on the back. No surprise it has small instruction manual, but vape pens are pretty straightforward devices, you don’t need a ton of instruction. I like their new design of the case, I find it much better than the old version case, the new one has a matte black rubberized finish. The case contains the battery, the mouthpiece and the atomizer, charger, little loading tool. The new little charger doesn’t have a cable anymore, so it goes directly to your USB port on your computer or a USB port for an iPhone or anything like that. The mouthpiece just pulls right off from the atomizer, so it just held by the little gasket down there. It pulls off really nice, it’s never once comes loose.
The new atomizer in the pro 2 is totally redesigned from previous version. It’s a lot smaller and it has more conical sort of tapered shape to it. It means you are not having those dead spots, you are not getting that oil creep up the side as much. Pro 2 Pen has no plastic, glue, fibers in the design ceramic, so it’s completely ceramic rod with the ceramic chamber. The mouthpiece has little splash guard. This splash guard is between the atomizer and the mouthpiece, so you will not get any oil going in your mouth and you shouldn’t get any dust going down into the atomizer. It’s very straightforward to use (specially if you used other vaping pens) just pull the mouthpiece off and load material in there.
To turn it off and on click five times.It has three temperatures, if you want to switch between them just click it 4 times. You can hold the button down like normal goes for about 10-12 seconds and then it going to turn off automatically, but then just like the puffco Plus this has Sesh Mode on it. So if you click it twice, it will go to stay on for 12 seconds. If you have enough of hits you click that button once and it will turn off the sesh mode. In term of flexibility it’s a concentrate pen, you can use any kind of concentrate really like wax, shatter, crumble, but don’t put dry herb, it will not work for that.
When it comes time to clean it, take your mouthpiece off (you don’t really have to take the splash guard off) and put it in a little bit of isopropyl alcohol, shake it up and dry it. It will come very clean. There are many ways to clean the atomizer, manufacturer recommends to fire the atomizer on white temperature, put it in sesh mode, then turn atomizer upside down over a piece of paper and let anything in there drip out. After this procedure you take a q-tip and the rest of remnants out.
The battery life is great, you will not complain for battery life in this.You can get around 100 hits from this. Whenever you are using a coil to heat up then it’s just a little piece of metal that’s heating up in there. In comparison the puffco plus has to heat up the whole chamber, just think of the amount of energy you need tospendin puffco pro 2 in comparison to the puffco plus. The Puffco Pro 2 pen has instant heating time. As soon as you hold the button down you are getting vapor.
