Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #439 'The Edge'
'The Edge'
Ages ago, among other things, some people believed the sea ends with a giant waterfall in all directions and it was the edge of the world. Could this be the edge of the world? No. Merely a high cliff above the edge of land and the beginning of the sea, a spot in which this stone house was built. I liked the view and enjoyed a moment of blissful ignorance. Sometimes, the best feeling one can have.
I used dark, gloomy colours to underline the danger and mystery of the place. One can almost feel the breeze as the dark tones lead the mind to that place. Deep blue and cyan combined with a significant portion of grey and almost neglectable yellow on that straw roof. The only accent is the red line on the flag.
I've composed the sea in the two upper thirds of the frame and left only one for the land.
Enjoy! :)

What it takes to calm ones soul.... For me, its a view of The endless ocean...
In my college days, my sailor friend Pratik used to tell me, "a calm sea never makes a skillfull sailor." And I told him, "Agree mate, but a calm sea often gives birth of a poet!"
Very nice click and the skillfull editing has made the picture even more attractive! I enjoyed your work mate!
Stay well and keep posting!
STEEM ON!

Excellent view and very good image! The colors make you feel a coldness in the air. The sea doesn't look warm! It looks inhospitable and deep. Perhaps the sea begins and ends in each one of us, and we live according to our state of mind. Have a good weekend!
wonderful, I love the colors, the blue of the water looks beautiful, and thatched roof I find it surprising that it is there, at the edge of the sea. A spectacular job you did in this photo, @velimir.
