Original Art Photography Series by @velimir #421 'Dark Alley'
'Dark Alley'
Even though it is a sunny day, the hidden back alley appears dull and rather dim. The overall mood is created by rundown walls and limited lighting. The only nice-looking object in the entire photograph is the old lamp. The rest needs immediate attention.
I've chosen to create the image in warm colours, juxtaposing it to the negative environment. This way, the place acquires an antique look and negative impact is limited. The image consists of 5 bigger areas that rival for dominance.
The patch of the blue sky is the only cold-coloured part of the image. Also, the only repaired outer wall is the yellow one to the left. It is lit by the sunlight and its quality is accentuated. Still, it is not perfect.
Enjoy! :)

Perhaps they are not damaged walls, but the brick wall is without a frieze, although both the wall and the walls of the wooden house show the imprint of time.
At night you may see and feel a little dark because of the lack of lighting, but when the sun is just above the road it must be your most beautiful moment, I can say that this is a corridor that causes light and darkness.
It would be interesting to note that it is in the opposite view of the road.
I see you constantly publish about photography, do you dedicate to them professionally?
You do it very well!

Ha, what a sad place. As you say, these walls need immediate attention, someone who wakes up and makes these works of art on these walls, I think they could get a lot of samples. If in broad daylight it is like that, I would not go there at night, I imagine very dark and tense nights there. Sunlight hardly does anything and with great effort, I think. The lamp seems beautiful to me, and without a doubt, it shines in that place because it is the only beautiful thing in the alley.
Indeed, as you say, what can be rescued is the beautiful lamp and that little bit of blue sky that speaks of another landscape. Sordidness is present in almost the entire environment, @velimir! I would not like to pass by there at night. The different graffiti and marks on the wall accentuate the street and abandoned style of the space. By your image I can even perceive the smells and the air that is breathed! As always: excellent work. Hugs
You have a very capacious work. You can look at the photo for a long time and it does not bother you, you catch yourself on that, that now someone will come out from behind the corner
Oh, it's sad to see such a place, so abandoned. What a pity that these walls are not adorovechen to paint something beautiful and striking, no doubt this alley needs creative artists immediately. The walls are terrifying, a lot of moisture and lack of color there. I wonder what makes that beautiful lamp in a place like this? Hopefully someone will discover this place and do something beautiful on those walls, @velimir. I think you could get a lot out of that alley.
It is a very beautiful photograph in addition to being simple, what makes it special is how to interact with the environment and the surroundings! Thank you for sharing with us
