"Nature's Beauty" ( Algiz Inverted Series)
One of several images I've put in a series called "Images of Death: Algiz Inverted".
Interestingly enough, this particular doe carcass was found years across the street from a church, in what could only be personified as a "hunter's graveyard".
I found myself both disgusted and fascinated by the maggots crawling all over the body while photographing it. The sound they make is akin to bacon frying in a pan, almost. I still get chills to this day thinking about the sound.
The image was taken with a Kodak Easyshare M531 digital camera at ISO 160. Photo editing was done with a mix of GIMP and Google Picasa.
