Small Town Miniliths

These rocks are part of a mountain in my town made by a mining operation that occurred millions of years ago. The valleys are now a lake.

Sort:  

East Coast for sure. Looks to be The Granite State or a similar North-ish Appalachian-area. Lakes aren't frozen though, and those look like sun-shade houseboat covers....so gives creedence to further south location like Tennesse/Georgia....or northern warm spell at the least. No clue what the weather's been like back east this year. Either way: RESARCH FREEZE/THAW WEATHERING.....For The Win.
