View from the top of Table Mountain
One of the highlights of being in South Africa was climbing Table Mountain. We decided to take the Skeleton Gorge route up the mountain, which was considered one of the more difficult ways to ascend.
We started the hike in Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, going up steps for what felt like an eternity but in reality was about 40 minutes. When we got to the top of the steps we managed to lose the path as we followed a little track and ended up on a climb that was both super stunning and extremely dangerous alike. One wrong step would have meant our sure deaths but with a beautiful view in our backs we continued up the steep mountain side.
After about half an hour we got back onto the path and made our way higher and higher towards Mc Clears beacon, the highest point at 1065m. Up there we took a few moments to commemorate the life of a great friend who had passed earlier that week.
We walked along the mountain side (the part that looks like the whole top of the mountain is flat) towards the cable car. It was on this stretch that we enjoyed the best views from the top and also where this photo was taken. We stayed at the top for a while and took the cable car to the foot of the mountain as the sun was going down.
Climbing one of the worlds natural wonders was both an exhilarating and contemplative journey and I would recommend to anyone who visits Cape Town, to take the hike up and not the cable car.

i thought it was a drone shot ...clear me is it a drone shot picture
Wow! What a nice view! Also, the picture was taken beautifully.
When you climb to the top of table mountain, you won't need a drone ;)
Oh pemandangan yang bagus dan menarik sekali😁
