Red-vented bulbul nest -2
After a wait of one and a half week, finally the little fellows decided to hatch out.. Parents are busy finding food and feeding the babies. I have heard that red-vented bulbul parent birds wait until the babies excrete and swallow their fecal sacs. I thought of keeping an eye out for them in case of predator attacks. Common coucals, rat snakes and Bengal monitors are the common predators that can harm these baby birds here in Sri Lanka..
