Scientists have established that Earth has two satellites

The American astronomers have conducted a number of researches by results of which they have made sensational discovery. It appears, at Earth not one natural satellite as all this time was considered, and whole two.

It is about an object under the name 2016 HO3 which has been recorded in April, 2016. Paul Chodas is the person who is the pioneer of a space body. The American astronomer used the automatic Pan-STARRS Pan-STARRS 1 (PS1) system telescope built at top of the Hawaiian volcano of Haleakal in the work.

Experts note what 2016 HO3 has some properties allowing him to receive the status of the satellite of our planet. In particular, this object already throughout long time doesn't move away from Earth on long distance, and it won't occur in the next centuries.

2016 HO3 can move away from Earth on distance which exceeds distance to the Moon by 200 times, but the planetary attraction won't allow an object to appear further away. It is noted also that the satellite doesn't approach our planet therefore the speech about collision doesn't go, and because of the very modest sizes it isn't capable to cause an eclipse.

It is worth noticing that there are some more objects which on the properties can be called quasisatellites of Earth, but they don't show stable stay at a certain distance as it does 2016 HO3. He began to behave like the satellite about 100 years ago.
