Our Home's Christmas Decors For This Year (@tegoshei's Photographer at heart Series #23)

Good day beautiful people!
It's time for another entry for @tegoshei's Photographer at heart Series.


For the past entries, I have shared pictures of Christmas decorations found in some places here in the Philippines, particularly in the malls. As the month of December approaches, more and more decorations are found in houses on the street... some are simple, others are extravagant.

Well, it's still November, so I'm expecting the night view to be even more colorful in the days to come. Actually, it's kind of different from when I was young. Maybe because of financial-related reason or whatever, there are fewer decorations now. I remember the streets to be filled with Christmas lights of various colors and designs. There are still those things but I feel that the number has declined as years passed by.

It also depends on the place, though. There are places with a bunch of decorations while there are also places where it's a struggle to find one. Anyway, let me share to you our simple Christmas decoration for this year. I hope you enjoy!





As much as I like really colorful stuff, I decided to pick a couple of main colors for the decoration this year. For the past years, my parents assigned me to think of the motif as well as the design for our decorations. Of course, they help me with executing it. :)





For this year, I chose rose gold, gold and white as the main colors for the decorations. This is how it looks like in the morning. Aside from this part of the house, we also put up a Christmas tree in our porch.





It's very simple, isn't it? :) This Christmas tree has been with us for the past three years or so. We just keep it well when it isn't Christmas season, so it's still pretty useful until now. <3 As you can see, the Christmas tree is ornamented with rose gold and gold decorations like Christmas balls, star, snow flakes, etc.





Below the Christmas tree, you'll see these figurines or the belen. We've had these figurines for a long time already... maybe more than 5 years?


So yeah, those are our Christmas decors as you see them in the daytime. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, but still beautiful and refreshing. Now, let me show you how it looks like at night.





It was still a bit bright when I took the picture above... Let's me show you shots when it's much darker.








Isn't it pretty? Now, let's take a closer look. :)











I personally like the star-shaped lights. They're adorable, they make me happy!


Finally, I took pictures of the Christmas tree at night. One without the flash, and another with the flash.
