The EOS 5DS R delivers fine detail and offers spectacular image performance thanks to the LPF effects cancellation feature utilizing the full capability of the 50.6 megapixel sensor. With the 1.3x and 1.6x pruning modes enabled, users can shoot incredibly stunning images of 30.5 megapixels each and 19.6 megapixel images.
Cancellation of Low-Pass Filter (LPF)
The EOS 5DS R is designed to cancel the optical LPF effect. This cancellation simulates the removal of LPF and utilizes the power of an effective 50.6 megapixel sensor to ensure high quality images with amazing detail.
Mirror vibration control system
Even the smallest blurring of camera shake can ruin the perfect image. Using cam-driven mechanisms to reduce blur effect due to camera shake, EOS 5DS R uses Mirror vibration control system. This mechanism allows the suppression of vibrations that arise during the movement of the mirror. This results in the completion of the camera's full power by reducing the effect of blur on camera shake while softening the sound of the shutter release at the same time.
