Had high hopes for this site, but it looks like it's not working out for me :(
I see other lesser photographers post something like mine and get loads of views and comments, but mine are just dead in the water. I wonder why!
Anyway, my parting gift for y'all:

Tom, you have 4 posts and have 7 followers why give up so soon? Nobody said it is going to be easy but having the attitude that you have already been defeated means you have nothing left to gain. Go out there are comment on those "lesser photographers", get them to notice you, have them share your posts, become active in your community. You won't be making $1,000s over night, anything worthwhile takes time, energy and effort. You have talent, don't waste it by throwing in the towel so soon.
Post consistently every day, comment on 10 posts every single day. Share other photographers work. Make this your living and good fortune will be returned to you.

You should stick around. It may take a little bit to get recognised and build up a following but it's much easier than trying to make it 'out there' from scratch. Bring some of your followers elsewhere onto Steemit as well!
Consider joining some of the photography contests that are being hosted here, mine is the Steemit Photo Challenge, there's also a Color Challenge, Portrait Contest and others. Have a look a round, network and leave comments. With your content I am certain that you will do well once people start to notice.

Not quite porn and there are many people out there that abuse porn. What I mean by that is they take content from elsewhere and post it here. Not saying that's what you do..
Steemit is just starting to get some attention, look at me, my account is new.
Take a look at reddit.com/r/girlsgonebitcoin they've all done verification photos. I'm guessing it could be helpful here if your models do a verification photos with you.
Use your social media accounts to send your viewers here. Post your content here first, post the link to your Steemit post on Twitter fb ig. A day or so later put the actual photo on the other platforms.
And as the other person already said, interact with the rest of the community. Check the rocket chat too.
Utilize the tips you get in here, try them out, if it doesn't work out to be worth your time, wait a month or so then come back and see how the community has grown, and try again.
