History of Grodno

Grodno is known since the beginning of the XII century, when the city's prince Vsevolod was first mentioned in Russian annals. It was then that the city became known for the first time as the center of the Gorodensky principality - the princedom under the rule of the Old Russian state, which is considered the first form of statehood in the territory of Black Russia.

Grodno is a city that breathes history. This Belarusian regional center is often called the most European city of Belarus. And this statement is not unfounded. And the center of Grodno is generally a time machine: it seems that you are in the Middle Ages. We will walk around this wonderful city and appreciate its beauty in the photographs.
