Summer Sunset in Sotkamo Finland

Our Summer house is located in the rural area Kainuu, Finland, called also the land of hunger "nälkämaa" in Finnish. The typical landscape consists of lakes, wetlands, and large forest hills that can be seen on the horizon. The roads are usually empty.

This photo has been taken in July, between 22-23 on the evening. At these latitudes in north Finland, the sun goes down for only a couple of hours during the summertime.
