Kranji Marshes in Singapore

My friend @acdevan had the craziest idea of visiting Kranji Marshes on one of the hottest day of February. It was one of the hottest day in February because we had not seen any rain since several weeks. The humidity must have been as high as we can get as well. The summary is , it was a F%$#@&* hot day. Anyway here we are all set up to visit the swamps of Kranji to watch some bird life. Complains of a hot day aside, we enjoyed the visit to the Marshland as we were the only two souls in the entire park so we had all the birds to ourselves.

We saw certain floras which we had not seen before.

Marshes were not that wet. They were kinda dry as we had not seen the amount of rain several weeks prior to the Marshland visit.

A viewing tower overlooking the Marshes and open fields provided us shelter from the sweltering heat.

Finally our visit came to an end. After a good wash up, we were headed to the town for some R&R.
