British Columbia has some of the best trees. Literally.

This one isn't even considered giant, but the photo spoke to me. It encapsulates the wilderness, bordered at the bottom by spruces and douglas-firs that inhabit the area.

Some trees are so old and moss-covered that they have a very mysterious feel to them.

Deciduous trees, like this vine maple also make an appearance. It looks kind of like a cannabis leaf, but maybe that's just viewing it through the eyes of a stoner...

Like any good nature expedition, it began with some of these brownies.

A serene spot on the lake was found to relax and enjoy the nature. Almost fell asleep the day was so nice.

The forest mixed with cedars and other trees is very thick, sometimes hard to hike through. The journey is worth it though.

If you have the chance to experience it, British Columbia has forests that are next to none. Included is a pic of the largest tree I have ever seen in person, a 1000+ years old western red cedar (thuja occidentalis)
