My Green Story
Can lettuce grow in tropical weather?
My answer? Yes!
I have no green thumb, infact, all that I used to plant on my own dies, I don't know why but I tried to plant lettuce one day inside our home and this was my very first harvest! Success! I thought maybe it was just pure luck but with proper care and temperature, growing lettuce in tropical countries such as ours isn't that challenging as we think. I live in the city by the way where temperatures can really be warm and humid specially during the summer days.
I am so grateful to my mentors, a lovely and helpful couple who taught me how to grow them hydroponically and since we love eating salad, I can just harvest them and consume them fresh anytime!
The lesson here is that it doesn't matter how many times you fail in life, as long as you aren't afraid to try again and again, one day with God's grace, it'll be your time to succeed. Happy planting!
