You're so lucky to live close to some amazing ancient historical sites. At least for me, when I walk in a place where I know something significant happened, I can almost feel it happening around me again, like the walls of time get really thin and I can almost reach out and touch those people living out that historic event. I felt it really strongly when I stood in the room where Alexander Hamilton got married (he's the guy on our $10 bill). I'm sure the feeling would be even stronger at a place with such an emotional history as Masada. Thanks for the pictures. They are truly inspiring.
Thank you for the nice comment. We truly are fortunate to be here. Don't know how long we will be here so we try and take advantage and go on small trips in the Country when we can.
