What I am looking to do on a farm.

When I sell the ancestral farm to get away from the power hungry township politicians who sued me for 3 years to stop me from keeping even 1 hen on 53 acres.

I want to buy a place I can use to grow forage and tree crops, to manage in a Restorative soil building Silva pastoral permaculture way and to raise pasture finished beef, lamb, pork and poultry.

I also want to build a homestead, like my family did here for not only my life but the future and a refuge, a Haven for my family, friends if and when things turn sour again.

My family moved to the place I am selling clear back in 1828 pooling their money to purchase four square miles along the Kalamazoo River running East to West in what was to become Emmett Township Calhoun County Michigan just East of what was to become the city of Battle Creek in 1828 moving from the Mohawk Iroquois area around Albany New York during the presidency of Andrew Jackson in part to avoid the Indian Removal Act that at that time was being pushed in the United States East of the Mississippi River. We have been here ever since but like my long ago ancestors it is time to take what I have and move ahead of a overwhelming hostile force this time the hostility of the suburbanite developers towards all rural folk and farm ways.

I will be looking for a place to build a Survival Haven. To set up a farm and a home for my family and I and a refuge for my band when again things turn bad in the rural areas we can hold and defend and support our families.
