Metro de Santiago de Chile
Tanto los buses como los vagones del metro se desplazan a altas velocidades, entre 60 y 80 Km/h, por lo que resulta un medio de transporte bastante efectivo. Aunque en autobús tardo más tiempo en llegar debido a las gran cantidad de autos que se desplazan por las diferentes vías.
Mejor tomo el metro!
El tramo de la línea 1 hace el recorrido desde la Estación Los Dominicos hasta Estación San Pablo. Primero debo tomar el autobús desde mi residencia hasta la Estación Manquehue y de allí me dirijo a mi sitio de trabajo.
La estación del metro "Manquehue" de la línea 1, se ubica en la Comuna Las Condes con la avenida Apoquindo y Manquehue. Este será mi punto de partida para hacer mi recorrido en las entrañas de la ciudad, en el metro subterráneo de la ciudad de Santiago de Chile.
El sistema de transporte por medio del metro está pronto a cumplir 43 años de haber comenzados sus operaciones y aun se conservan muchos de sus vagones y la infraestructura de las estaciones siempre están bajo mantenimiento y en proyectos de expansión y mejoramiento del servicio que presta tanto a los chilenos como a los extranjeros que utilizan este medio para transportarse.
