"Kupiah Meukutop" the identity of aceh nation

A few months ago I went to Meulaboh to attend my friend's wedding invitation. After the wedding ceremony ended we decided to drive around town Meulaboh and visit some points that we consider good to go. One spot that we went is a monument built to commemorate the heroes of Aceh that have been struggling to free Aceh from the invaders. He is Teuku Umar.

The monument is better known by the name "Kupiah Meukutop" and became the icon of West Aceh regency.
Historically kupiah meukutop is identified with an oversized hat that is often used by Teuku Umar.
When me and my sister @poocut came to the monument, the monument is under construction for the re-arrangement of the tourist sites in order to be better and be able to attract visitors both local and foreign tourists.
