Bohag Bihu is a spring festival. It falls around the middle of April and marks the onset of the sowing season. Kati Bihu ia an autumn festival and marks the completion of the sowing season. It falls around October. Magh Bihu is a winter festival and celebrates the onset of the harvest season. It falls in January. Bohag Bihu is the most popular and the biggest of the 3 Bihus.
