These are just a few of my photographs from that trip but I thought I would share.

Friday Harbor

This is truly one of my favorite spots to shoot. We first spent about 1 year tracking the orcas on a website called the orca network. Once we heard they would be up there, we jumped the ferry and heading out that way. The first is a shot of the sunrise while waiting for the ferry.

After about 10 hours in the sun on a hot August day, we were almost ready to give up. Just then we heard someone say "Here They Come!" We had about 5 minutes to setup and capture a few shots.

This adventure was truly one of the best of my life. There is just something to be said about being in the same area as animal so amazing.
