Sometimes, it is bad to be first, especially when you are a daffodil!
My first daffodil arrived heralding spring, unfortunately it was just a little too fast for it's own good.
Winter had one more blow, and this flower didn't get through it. But his brothers are right behind him, and they will ultimately win out. Spring is coming...soon.
But it is encouraging to see such vibrant yellow, even if only for a day! This flower gave it's all, just to remind me that spring is coming, for that I am grateful. GOD really knows how to paint, and flowers are one of his best works!
Take time to smell and enjoy them, life is too short to waste on anything less.

There are more today, the fight is ON! It was sad, but beautiful. It seems to be a reminder from GOD that good things are coming soon....
